Cobalt Energy was appointed by Varco Energy as Client’s Project Manager, Owner’s Engineer, Principal Designer, and Technical Advisor on the 47.5 MW Sambar Power BESS facility in Cornwall. Our team played a central role across all phases of the project lifecycle, from early design and planning through to construction oversight and technical assurance.

Throughout the 15-month programme, Cobalt Energy ensured compliance with UK CDM regulations, provided engineering input into procurement and delivery strategies, and maintained close client collaboration to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective project execution.
